e. lieu wolhardt is a multi-cultural/multi-media/multi-disciplinary artist, currently living in pittsburgh, pa. born and raised in hong kong to taiwanese-danish parents, they consider themselves a child of globalization.
they are a recent graduate of carnegie mellon university’s video media design and lighting design programs, receiving a bfa in drama with an additional major in global studies.
their current obsessions include violence, gender, non-bodies, insanity, ambiguity, generational memory, folk music, multiculturalism, decolonization, anarchy, exilic spaces, zomia, disbelief, dada, self-defined camp, self obsession, self repulsion, and the existential nature of being everything & nothing at all.
outside of the theatre, they enjoy music, replicating their grandma’s recipes, video djing, and take care of their cat, forklift.
